Capturing the moments when a bride is getting ready - the dress, the hair, the bridesmaids - is a genuinely great part of any wedding. But this first blog post is for the underdogs - this one is for the grooms.
When Christopher mentioned that he was going for an old school shave and haircut at a barbershop to prep for his marriage to Ljiljana, I knew I had to be there.
I met him at Nite Owl Barbershop in Etobicoke a few hours before the ceremony. This place is crazy cool - vintage signs on the walls, old memorabilia, a friendly moustachioed barber and spray bottles fashioned from liquor bottles (either that, or gin has properties I didn’t know about). A perfect venue for some good, old-fashioned, manly primping.
Thanks, Christopher, for letting me be a part of such an excellent start to your day.
